Zopa Retail Finance

Spread the cost with fixed repayments

Zopa Retail Finance

Previously known as DivideBuy. Eligible customers may apply at checkout to spread the cost of a TV Bed purchase over fixed monthly repayments.

  • Check eligibility first
  • Fixed monthly repayments
  • Subject to status

DivideBuy is now Zopa Retail Finance

DivideBuy became part of Zopa and its retail-finance service is now presented under the Zopa name. Existing customers may still see DivideBuy references in earlier agreements, emails or account information.

At TV Bed checkout, select the available Zopa or DivideBuy retail-finance option and review the current plan before applying.

What may be available?

Zopa can provide interest-free or interest-bearing retail credit. The options available through TV Bed may vary by order value, promotion and eligibility.

Choice

Different terms

Zopa supports a range of repayment periods, but only the terms shown at TV Bed checkout are available for your order.

Clarity

Fixed repayments

Your agreement sets out the amount and timing of the scheduled monthly repayments.

Options

0% may be offered

Interest-free plans may be available on qualifying orders. Availability is not guaranteed.

Flexibility

Pay early

Zopa states that customers can make extra payments or clear their balance early without an additional charge, subject to the agreement.

How to apply

1

Build your order

Add your TV bed and any eligible products to the basket.

2

Choose finance

Select Zopa or DivideBuy when the option is displayed at checkout.

3

Check eligibility

Provide accurate details so Zopa can assess the application.

4

Review and agree

Check the repayments, total cost and terms before signing electronically.

Finance should remain affordable

Consider whether you could continue making the repayments if your income or expenses changed. Borrowing more than you can afford or missing payments may affect your financial status and ability to obtain credit.

Frequently asked questions

Who can apply for Zopa Retail Finance?

Zopa’s current published eligibility requirements state that applicants need to:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • be a UK resident with at least two years of address history;
  • verify their identity;
  • be able to afford the credit in relation to their income and outgoings;
  • have a valid UK debit card; and
  • have a valid UK mobile number.

Meeting these requirements does not guarantee approval. Zopa applies its own lending criteria to every application.

Will applying affect my credit score?

Zopa explains that the initial eligibility check uses a soft credit search. This can appear on your credit report for you to see but should not affect your credit score.

If you are eligible and decide to proceed, Zopa carries out a hard credit search before the order is placed. Other lenders can see this search and it may affect your credit score.

Why was my application declined?

Zopa assesses applications automatically against its lending and affordability criteria. TV Bed cannot see all the information used, influence the result or overturn a lending decision.

Submitting another application immediately is unlikely to produce a different result unless your information or circumstances have changed. If information on your credit report appears incorrect, contact the relevant credit-reference agency.

How much can I borrow and for how long?

Purchase limits and repayment periods depend on the plans made available by TV Bed, your basket value and Zopa’s assessment. Zopa’s wider retail-finance service may support terms from 3 to 120 months, but this does not mean every term is available for a TV Bed purchase.

The options displayed during your checkout are the only ones available for that application.

Are there interest or other charges?

Some qualifying plans may be interest-free, while other plans may charge a fixed rate of interest. Before you agree, Zopa will show any deposit, interest rate, APR, monthly repayment, total charge for credit and total amount payable.

Do not rely on an example from a different retailer, promotion or earlier purchase. Check the figures in your own credit agreement.

Why must my delivery and billing details match?

Matching address information helps Zopa verify your identity and reduce fraud. Finance orders normally need to be delivered to the address approved within the application.

If an address needs to change, contact Zopa and TV Bed before delivery is arranged. TV Bed cannot deliver a finance order to an unapproved address.

How are repayments collected?

Zopa will explain the payment method and collection dates in your agreement. A valid UK debit card is normally required to establish the scheduled repayments.

Keep your payment and contact details current and ensure sufficient funds are available on each due date.

How do I manage my account or make an extra payment?

After a successful order, Zopa will provide instructions for activating or accessing your online account. Use it to view the balance, repayment schedule, order history and available payment options.

Questions about repayments, account access, early settlement or changing payment details should be directed to Zopa.

What happens if I cancel or return my order?

Contact TV Bed first and follow our applicable cancellation or returns process. Once a cancellation is accepted or returned goods have been received and approved, TV Bed will notify the finance provider so the agreement or balance can be adjusted.

Continue making any payments due until Zopa confirms the change. Zopa will handle any adjustment or repayment already collected under the terms of your agreement.

Who should I contact for help?
  • Contact TV Bed about products, order changes, delivery, returns or confirmation that a cancellation/refund has been submitted.
  • Contact Zopa about eligibility, application decisions, credit searches, agreements, repayments or account access.
